Use of the site
The content of and copyright in the Site is owned by or licensed to us. You are permitted to view individual pages for your own personal use. You are not permitted to print pages. Any other use must be with our prior written permission.
Your contract for purchases made through the website is with Imago Portrait Studios Ltd and yourself and condition of sales agreement is based on your agreement with these terms.
Imago Portrait Studios Ltd is not responsible for any errors made whilst placing an online order.
The Site and the goods sold through it are subject to change without notice and we reserve the right to improve, alter or modify designs without prior notification. We will inform you of any changes to the advertised goods prior to despatch of such goods. If you are unhappy with these improved, altered or modified goods you may inform us within 7 days, starting on the day after the goods are delivered to you. In order to receive a refund, the goods must be returned in their original unused condition and with all packaging intact, together with your receipt. We recommend that you retain all of the original packaging until you are sure that you intend to keep the goods. An administration fee of £15.00 per frame, canvas, acrylics and blocks panel will be charged for all returns for refund. (Please note: The administration fee will only be charged if the item is not faulty, or doesn't differ significantly from the advertised goods.) Please see our specific Delivery & Returns policies which form, an additional part of these 'Terms and Conditions of Sale'.
Whilst we try to display goods on our Site that are held in stock, if the ordered goods are not available we will advise you of this as soon as reasonably possible. You will be given the option of ordering an alternative product or receiving a full refund.
By submitting your order you are offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details on to couriers and other subcontractors), for future offers and products and feedback.

We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed that we have accepted your order and received payment in full. We may at our total discretion reject your order.
All drawings, specifications, sizes, photographs, descriptive matter and advertising published by us or contained on our Site are issued only for giving an approximate idea of the goods described in them and colours shown are intended as a guide only. They do not form part of the Terms.
Imago Portrait Studios Ltd reserves the right to 'crop' an image in order for it to fit on certain products (e.g. magnets).
Please note that the images you see on your screen may vary slightly in colour from your final product due to different computer screens being colour calibrated differently. Our screens are colour calibrated to our printers and will differ from yours.
Images may appear slightly different to your proof images due to the different materials and processes involved.
Imago Portrait Studios guarantee the sizes of our digital images to 10x8 or 12x4.5 inches.
All sizes quoted are approximate and are in inches.

We reserve the right to use images for our promotional purposes. If you do not wish your images to be used please email us at email@example.com including your gallery name and login details.
Orders will not be processed until receipt of cleared funds.
Payment is accepted by MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Switch, Maestro, Solo and Electron cards. No other credit, debit or online payment cards (including American Express and Diners Club) are currently accepted.

All prices are in British Pounds and include Value Added Tax where applicable. We reserve the right to adjust the VAT element if this changes from 20%. The cost of transporting goods ("Carriage & Insurance Costs") are as set out within our Delivery & Returns policies and are based on the shipping location. These Carriage & Insurance Costs shall be added to the price to be paid by you.
Damaged or Defective Goods
You should inspect the goods when you receive them for defects or damage. If you find a defect or damage you must take out as 24 hours of arrival and all returns must be received by Imago Portrait Studios Ltd within 7 days of the item being delivered. All items must be sent recorded or by Special Delivery. Please refer to our Delivery & Returns policies for instructions on how to return an item.
Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
We want you to be fully satisfied every time you purchase from us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items, so below is our returns policy:
All items must be returned with a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN), details of how to obtain a RAN are contained below. Unless the goods are found to be faulty, an administration charge of £10.00 per item will be made, in order to cover administration, re-stocking and the original delivery/handling of your order. This charge will be deducted from any refund due. Please note that the goods must be returned in their original unused condition and with all packaging intact.
Contact must be made within 24 hours of arrival and all returns must be received by Imago Portrait Studios Ltd within 7 days of the item being delivered. All items must be sent recorded or by Special Delivery.
If the goods delivered are faulty or have been damaged in transit, then we will either exchange the goods free of charge, or give you a full refund including delivery costs (full refund available only on faulty goods), providing the goods are returned to us within 7 days from the date of delivery.
We strongly advise all customers to check products thoroughly upon delivery before hanging on a wall. For all other reasons a refund can occasionally be given at the discretion of Management.

Our Exchange policy does not apply to custom sized / made products , nor made to order / individualised products (e.g. digital items, prints, canvases, framed images).
If the item ordered is not what you expected and an exchange is required, this can be provided but a delivery charge will be incurred. If you want to exchange the item for an alternative one, please contact us initially to obtain a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) and to ensure that the item you need is available. Please note the goods must be in their original condition and with all packaging intact, as we cannot exchange used goods. Please see 'Returns' section above for specific conditions. A delivery charge will be incurred for sending out any new goods. All exchanges are offered subject to product availability and the customer will incur any shipping costs for such exchanges.
Exchanged items will only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received complete with a RAN and undergone a quality control check.

How to Return or Exchange an Item

To inform us of your intentions and to obtain a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN). This must be be done within 7 days of receiving your order. We reserve the right to refuse returns if this procedure is not followed.
Please ensure that you enclose your order paperwork with the items you are returning along with a note giving the reason for the return or the exchange. Please then wrap the package safely and securely with the original packaging received and additional and send it to the address below. In the case of a defective item, please provide a full description of the fault and again, send it to us in its original condition and all packaging intact. The Returns Authorisation Number should be written on your original invoice and on the return-shipping label.
For your protection we strongly recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service or a courier that will offer proof of delivery. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt and all goods remain the responsibility of the customer until they are received back by Imago Portrait Studios Ltd.

All items must be returned to us following the guidelines and conditions above before a refund or replacement is issued.
Refunds to you will normally be made within 30 days of the date of cancellation notice. All undamaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchaser's credit/debit card excluding shipping charges and less an administration fee of £10.00 per product unless faulty (please see above). International customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable for shipments outside the European Community (EU).
Cancelling an Item
Our cancellation policy does not apply to custom sized / made products , nor made to order / individualised products.
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any non customised or bespoke item within seven working days of delivery. However, we regret that we cannot accept cancellations of orders where the item has been used, not in its original condition or without all its packaging. This policy does not apply to custom made products such as digital images, prints, canvases, framed images, art blocks, block mounts, acrylics and other products that are made specifically to customer requirements.
To cancel this contract, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org giving the reason for the cancellation. Please package the relevant item safely and securely in the original packaging and send it to us with the original order documents so that we receive it within seven working days of the date that the item was delivered to you. Limitation of liability
All reasonable efforts have been made to try to ensure that the information contained on the site is correct and up to date. However, we can not guarantee this is the case and we shall not be liable for inaccuracies or for your reliance on incorrect or out of date information. Whilst we will try to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal details, we cannot guarantee the security of any data you disclose on-line and will not be responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence. We do not have any liability to you arising out of your use or inability to use the site. We will not be liable to you for any unforeseeable losses.
We will be excused performance of any of our obligations if caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control or beyond the reasonable control of our suppliers, including, without limit, industrial disputes, war, flood and changes in legislation.
Damage to physical property caused by our negligence or by the goods shall not exceed £5,000 per event or series of connected events.
The aggregate of all claims arising in connection with the goods (whether due to breach of contract, or negligence, or otherwise) shall not exceed the price paid by you in respect of the goods that are the subject matter of the claim in question.
